A Little Crafty share.....

I had so much fun making these air dry clay, stamped hearts.  They are totally inspired by the incredible Christy Tomlinson.....I just love the colors and I think they look super cute hanging up!!!

These are so simple to make!  Take a small amount of clay, shape it into a heart.  I used Kaisercraft letter stamps to impress the words into the clay.  I used a wooden skewer to make a hole up the middle of the heart and then set them aside to dry.  Then comes the fun of choosing colors and finger painting.  If you find you get paint in your words use the skewer to scratch the paint away.

Then simply use twine to string these cute little numbers together and seperating with knots.  I love them!!!  I've also had alot of fun making little crocheted hats and booties for some dear friends who have just had babies.  I guess you could say I'm getting into practice and just a tad excited about our first little grand baby coming along in early June!!!

This little set is actually for our soon to be newest family member.  I just love the vintage colors and feel to them.

And this little vintage hat is my own design......I just think our little girl will look absolutely adorable!!!  This next set is a little boy set I made for one of my good friends.

I can't wait to see photos of her beautiful little boy in these.  I get so much joy from making gifts for people and the warmth that comes with them.  And lastly, these are a couple of headbands I made for my two beautiful neices.

They are definately not my pattern.  I went on to youtube and found a clip made by a clever lady, here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iS39tjLyeyk&noredirect=1  I really like that the flower can be interchanged for another colored flower so it will always match your childs/your outfit.

Well I hope this is a little more inspiration for you and that you'll come back and visit me again and again xxx
